Tune boy with cruise

Hey I'm looking at getting tune boy with cruise program fitted on my 1299 in a wk.I had it on my diavel and it was awsome power gains and cruise on those boring highways, I'm also wanting to get acropovic slip ons installed at some stage can the bike be tuned with the pipes on through the tune boy mapping??any feedback would be great.

It will come with several maps for the akra

Fine tuning involves a little more effort. Some others will surely chime in on this

Yes, worth finding a tuner familiar with the software.

Also worth considering the full system rather than the slip ons. The Akra Evolution exhaust for the 1199 fits the 1299 and is far cheaper. Tuneboy unlocks the UPMAP so no problem there, you then create a custom tune on top.

If you purchase just the slip ones for the 1299 they are way overpriced (not far off the Evo system full price) & only sold through Ducati dealers. It doesn't eliminate the flapper valve which has been known to close on the 1299 with Akra slips at high RPM. For tuning purposes the full system is also easier to work with as wideband sensors can be screwed straight into the headers unlike the stock pipes.

I freaking love the cruise control.

my bike spent 12 hours total on a dyno, and the fine tweaking paid off handsomely.
