For Sale Tuneboy Module $400

For sale I have a Tuneboy. Had the ability to add cruise control and do complete tuning for exhaust. I dont know much else about these. The tune was removed from the bike so I'm not sure how you go about installing on your bike. I guess this is like BrenTuning and you need to buy another access code to use on another bike.

ok, so apparently you need to buy additional unlock codes from tuneboy at $199 each to use this on your bike which is crazy.

So I'm asking $325 now AND including the computer used with this. It is a basic Windows 15" laptop.
Price is non-negotiable.

Not to ruin your sale but please check with TuneBoy first how they handle that.

Would be sad to see someone pay that $ for a cable and a CD..

I am lead to believe that once the software is registered in the directory of the laptop that's it.

Swaping from computer to computer is a simple regedit transfer. Thread somewhere on here about it.

The main thing is the Tuneboy licence only lets you unlock 1x ECU and only for 1 of 3 types of licence.

Unless your bike already has a TB tune uploaded (say via a workshop) you would still need to buy a licence key from TB.

I have updated the original posting and reduced the price to $325 and I am including my laptop used with this.

Sorry for late reply. I do not know how to do that unfortunately. I don't know anything about how tuning works.

Not for sale. Am going to keep. Thank to everyonefor the information about these. Would be best for interested parties to buy new from Tuneboy themselves.

MD just from me doing mine recently it stated nothing was attached to the computer.. It's all ecu based and not to be rude but you can get a brand new full tune boy program cruise and tune for 430.. Seems like a lot to deal with just to save 30$!

correct Tune+Cruise is 399- or 199 each- ( AUD which breaks down to about 147 each or 194 for both)

Tyler thank you for the information, I have chosen to pull this listing and not actively pursue selling it. You still would have to pay an additional $300- $500 for a computer to manage the tunes and everything, so please do not forget that was going to be included here.
I read the tune only was $399 + another $200 for the cruise, but I may be wrong. Maybe $399 is for it all like you say.
If someone wanted to swap Base model Ecu for this base model ecu they can absolutely use this 100% without needing to purchase anymore expensive key codes. This programming locks to an ECU and can installed and removed to that specific ecu as many times possible without the need to purchase codes. Taking the ecu out is a five minute job and only requires removing right side fairing.
I am going to research more about how this transferring works. I will admit I too quickly posted this item for sale without fully knowing what I am selling which is a poor choice.
