Hi

really interested in installing a tuneboy kit on my 1199S

but i live in an area where there is no dyno shop near me

Anyone in this forum that installed it himself without any custom dyno tune ?

my 1199S has the full termi exhaust + MWR airfilter so im not sure if the pre-made v6 map would be ideal for it

any info would be appreciated

cheers:D

The provided trim maps are pretty good. Not much to be worried about

thanks for the info

do you maybe have more info about the extended power modes and if they are required at all ?

If you mean the new linear throttle maps I like them. The new maps make the bikes power much more responsive. The quick turn is amazing too. Takes a bit to get used to, not recommended for the streets.

ah i see. awesome :D

one last question. (nearly forgot)

im currently stuck with the racing map (which came with the slip ons) installed the full system and i messed up awhile back then when i moved which resulted in loss of the racing up-map

only have the racing evo up-map atm which i can't use till i reverse the current racing map to standard

will this affect tuneboy ?

i live in thailand and the dealer said that they can't do anything without the original up-map
