Tuneboy sale

Help Support Ducati Forum:

The product is excellent IMO and I have no hesitation in recommending it. CC is excellent for longer trips, some other nice little features already well covered on this forum. The tuning side of things I think is capable of matching or exceeding what is currently on offer for Dynojet or Rapidbike for half the price. You can also return the bike to stock very easily.

Downside is that there is not yet (as far as I can tell) a range of tune files (maps) for the various configurations. When I purchased last July I was told it would be days. It's also not that easy to find a tuner who uses Tuneboy. I've always found customer service/after sales to be good although it can be a bit slow. I've just looked at the website (which is rarely updated - strange for someone capable of writing software!) and the Panigale is not yet listed for Tune Downloads.

It forces you to get the WB kit... more revenue...

Stinks but I will go this route, especially since there will be no specific .ap for MY exhaust and someone in south Africa might be interested as well... :D

The same site has RapidBike as well, not on sale, but if a few of you get together and email them they'll do group buys. They've done a few for Streetfighter members. Someone just needs to get it started.

Not so sure about that. I ordered the whole shooting match WB kit etc. I asked when ordering if I would get any benefit from WB with my config. Emma refunded the money saying the maps included would do the job.

I don't think money is the be and end all for them. They seem like good people to me...........

So do you have the akra on your bike w/o a tune at all? If so, how's that working out?

I do not. Someone else here does, and it is running better than stock, which is more then you could hope for. I am waiting to get my Tuneboy installed and working, before I put the Akra on. That is the only way I can make myself do it. :)

For all you guys that have an Akra pipe and need a basemap for it you can go on tuneboys facebook page and download all the files from there. Just scroll down the page and you will see three links. One is for the Diavel, one is for the Multistrada, and the other is for the Panigale. It has all the latest software and tune files from Wayne plus the Akra map.

Looks like no one ever reads anything!!!!

TUNEBOY HAS FACEBOOK PAGE THAT HAS PANIGALE TUNE FILES PLUS AKRA MAP.

He did not put on web site that looks to be a few years old but he did put on Facebook page.

So people have to sign up for social networking sites to get updates and not the actual website? What a joke!

If the effort is made to update Facebook, the same effort could go into their own webpage so people (like myself) who don't bother with social networking sites could benefit from and have a go to place to source some much needed updates.

Thanks for the heads up - it's the first I've heard of Tuneboy actually having a Facebook page, let alone making downloads available from it! Not exactly where I (or I imagine many others) would have expected to find them but so long as they are accessible I don't care.

EDIT - I think this is the page he was referring too.

if you search for "tuneboy" one of the results will be "tuneboy engine management systems" then halfway down the page on the left you see the maps for download.

Sadly in the link there was no obvious tune and trim for the termi slips only. Another member kindly send me a trim which I will have a go at uploading this weekend if I can find time to fit the termis!

It might be they don't have an in house web person, and it is difficult for them to initiate changes. Trying to give them the benefit of doubt :)

I'm willing to lend my skill set to do some web dev in exchange for a unit, in case they watch these posts :)
