I dunno, i'm pretty hard on helmets and I know you can't put a price on your safety and I've been thru a few but safety gear is just getting outta control with retail prices, damn.

This one of the helmets Rossi wore while testing the GP12 bike. I dont know if this is available to the public or even a close replica

AGV have been promising news of their new top line helmet for a while now.

Their website is currently undergoing heavy revisions (been away all week) and I expect it to come back with loads of info on this new helmet, currently known as Project-46 :)

Check their min-site AGV STANDARDS

Looks like two versions GP and GT i.e. Super-expensive and Regular-expensive

Think I'll be interested!!!

BTW - looks freakin awesome painted.....

BTW..... not so sure why he looks so happy, can't have seen his times yet :(

I know, i had an AGV my self anf its pretty sweet but, these Rossi replicas are bling chi ching lol .

and yeah, him and nicky need to go to work!!! damn it

He's smiling because he probably makes a decent amount from every #46 helmet sold. I know I have had a few (I think 4) myself in the last 14 years.

Pfffft Rossi reps aren't expensive. Check out the carbon fibre Arai, only $4,000.

The first one pictured seems full carbon. Interesting, although I am not inclined to AGV since Super Sic.

BTW, Rossi looks very tired. Still smiling, but horribly tired, maybe out of nervosity.

Yeah, that first one is actually Rossi helmet, not a replica...and certainly more than $4000..more like $40k ! :)

man i just bought the AGV element... now I have to buy one of these?! when are these being released?

I dont know when the 2012 replica will be available but a good revzilla.com and kneedraggers.com have a wide selection of replicas.

I've for the AVG Stealth and its great quality, visor seals nice and quiet. fits good

Not AGV's fault. Sic wore a helemt one size larger than he should to compensate for the awesome hair he had. Buy the correct size for your mellon and AGV is one of the best products out there.
