I think he was just jacking with you to see haw many of you guys would make remarks. LOL

Or else he is just new to bikes and doesn't understand how things work well enough. His friends are probably lying to him about their bikes power.

Either way. No one was really helping him understand that that is not feasible on a twin with a motor that is that much oversquare. Ie: 116mm bore and 60.8 mm stroke designed for more high RPM hp. Everyone is just ribbing him and making fun of him.

About the only bike I have seen that puts out that much torque os the Triumph Rocket 3

I believe it is about 2400 cc or thereabouts.

Talking about upgrades, can the headlight bulbs be upgraded for a much brighter offering? Was out in the dark the other night and noted these current bulbs are a bit dim for pitch black riding or maybe its my eyes lol.

I've seen some LED bulbs that looked allright, but I don't know if they'll fit with the heat sinks.. Haven't opened the fairings down to the high beams to get a proper look yet. A HID kit with small ballasts is another alternative. OR, get a LED headlight from a S and do a retrofit

you mention you are 300lbs and that your buddy pull away from you? maybe you can tell us how much your buddy weight? if he is under 200lbs then that's the reason. you don't need more torque, just start working out and lose that weight and you'll be pulling ahead of him in no time.

Good point!

You will also enjoy life more and live longer.. not to mention being much more aerodynamic.

I don't think that its a so stupid question

If you've ever drove a chopper with 180 Nm you know what torque is

I'm more in fear about a gearbox breakdown with such extreme tuning actions

Has anyone experience with NOS on a Motorbike??? I've heard about 60 HP+

In my country its totally illegal, so theres no one to tell about experiences

Of all of the things you may wish to change or improve about a Ducati... torque? TORQUE?!!
As they say in my world, maybe the problem is PEBCAK

jello, some are never happy.........I like this forum but sometimes one can get crucified for say the wrong thing. I thank most everyone for helping me out in many binds. What I don't like is when ppl get jumped on for asking a question, not everyone has the ability and skill. But to those who have helped me, I whole hardheartedly thank you.
