I figure I will start this thread in case any other V2 owner wants to have this done vs spending big bucks on an Akra slip on or any other slip on or full exhaust system.

Contact @Phl on these forums to have this process done to your exhaust.

I will update this as I get my exhaust back or any of you have any questions.
Here is a link to a video clip for reference, although this is on an 1199 Panigale, it will sound similar. I like the sound of the valve train at idle along with the deeper/throatier growl of the exhaust as it climbs the rpm’s when ridden

How does this affect any computer related items? Does it need to be flashed?
If unplugging/removing the servo for the flapper valve it would store a code in the ECU but not trigger a check engine light on the dash. I had the flapper valve removed but I’m leaving the servo connected. Supposedly the bike will be fine without a tune/flash but I’m going to look into one as I’m also installing a high flow air filter to help the engine breathe better along with the cored exhaust

I received my high flow P-08 F1-85 Sprint air filter today. This should help the engine breathe better with the cored exhaust. The exhaust is due to arrive back later this week. After I install both I will post pics and a video clip, hopefully the louder/deeper exhaust sound will come through ok. I know they never sound as good on video as they do in person. 9082F49D-7802-472A-8074-04BFD3A9B91F.jpeg9082F49D-7802-472A-8074-04BFD3A9B91F.jpeg

For info I installed the Akra end cans and hi flow air filter and then a week later the upmap. The bike runs significantly better after the upmap - the dip in power and torque is no longer there.
It also says "RACING" when you switch her on too. :D

There is no DB killer as noted, it’s basically restricting materials and internal designs that were removed along with the catalytic converters

thanks for the vid man! hope you like it!!!

Thanks Phil, everyone with a V2 who hears it likes it, and is wanting to get their stock exhaust modified by you

Thanks,
:D

do you have a fly-by or static video as well?

It’s definitely louder than stock. I tried recording with my iPhone but it made it sound horrible. I don’t have a Go Pro even though it still doesn’t sound like it does in person.

Cold engine idling and revving the engine a little bit. Sounds nothing like it does in person, much deeper tone and louder than what the phone recorded. Sounds great while riding in higher rpm’s
“pops” on upshifts and downshifts, also when coming off throttle.
