My Streetfighter V4 SP will be used on track for some of the time. It’s been a while since I rode a bike with a dry clutch.
As I want the clutch to be ventilated during performance use on track, any suggestions about how best to protect it in the event of a spill? The carbon protector it came with looks pretty, but I feel a full circumference protector would do a better job of allowing me to continue my track fun in the event of minor crash/trip to the gravel. Thinking here about actual damage from road surface/gravel during a crash and gravel/dirt ingress when sliding.
Anyone got any experience or opinion of good vs bad protectors? GB Racing do a vented ballistic nylon cover and Ducati do a metal one. I trust GB Racing covers (used them for years) but never on an open/dry clutch. Instinctively, I feel Ducati’s metal one should(?) provide greater protection.
