V4 stalling issue

Hello, today I had a bit of an issue. It has been about 75 degrees out all day and went out for a ride but about an hour into my ride my bike would stall at a stop. Very interesting, it sounds exactly the same as if you’d turn the key to off. After it stalls it starts right back up. Very interesting, no modification other than exhaust.

Normal for a Panigale (and many Ducati motorcycles). You will find tons of info on that (and possible fixes). I don't have stalling issues that often since flashing my 2021 V2 ECU, but it does still happen sometimes. It would happen multiple times every ride before the ECU flash.

It doesn’t seem normal lol, I’ve ridden a handful of times and this has never happened

Not sure if the bike was flashed after the exhaust. I was thinking maybe bad gas? I’ll be bringing it to Ducati metutchen the 18th

The charcoal canister is more of an issue if it’s hot when you ride or if the bike gets very warm since more fuel vapor will build up.

Interesting, the bike runs great otherwise so I’m very curious to see what this is going to be. Maybe needs to be updated ? This is my first duc so everything is new to me.

Search this forum for "Bike Stalls" and you will find people with the same issue on V4, V2, Streetfighters. Slightly off-throttle, which happens as you come to a stop at a stoplight and it could stall. I have owned several Ducati bikes that did this. I remove the Charcoal canister for all of them and flash them as well. They don't do it that much anymore (maybe once per 50 rides or more). I don't know if it is the charcoal canister when it gets hot (and tank builds pressure) or if it is the crappy lean factory tune trying to meet emissions. Either way, many, many Ducati owners have experienced the stall at a stoplight. My inline 4 and single cylinder bikes (non-Ducati) don't do this.

It happened about 6 times within about 4 hours,

That is about what I experienced during my first few days of riding my new 2021 V2. It got better over time and then was almost completely eliminated after the mods (removed charcoal canister, installed Arrow exhaust, Sprint filter, and flashed ECU).

I wonder if that will work for me, where’d you get a tune ? Like I said I’ll see what Ducati has to say about it because it didn’t happen the previous times I rode the bike
