RIP Carlin - He was a great guy. I talked to him a couple of weeks back as he was working on the bike & setup. Before I could say anything he complemented me on my riding (even though he passed me like I was standing still). That was always his style.
What a tragic loss. Carlin sold me my V4 Speciale last year at Ducati SB. I was fortunate enough to get to know him a bit during the purchase process and afterwards when I would stop by the shop to say hello and hang out. Carlin was a class act and just a good dude.
Even though he was a world-class racer, he still offered to take me out for some rides and give tips and pointers. Although I only knew him briefly, this news deeply saddened me.
RIP, Carlin. You will be missed.

Yeah I watched the stream at 2:30 PST (crazy I know). Maybe they were going for the V lights on the DRL's. I was hoping they would have a special edition (probably next year) that would have none electronic Ohlins.
I can't wait to see it and sit on it at the Long Beach show next month.
