At your 6.
HATE to be that guy, but im going to do it anyway.. I expected BETTER numbers than this considering it has the akro full pipe etc.

I know every dyno reads different and tbh im oldschool, ive always judged my own bikes by 1/4mile trap speeds at the track in regards to hp, to figure if im goin backwards or forwards in power.

Your take?

Im sure 650ib will do a dyno run on his.. will be good to see what his does.

650ib has already put his V4R on the dyno and he pulled 200rwhp. He uploaded the video onto youtube last week. His old V4 Speciale made 197 or 198 rwhp with the full Akra system. So a bit disappointing if you ask me

Buy a BMW S1000rr and dyno please thanks...Ride it...Only a Dyno number..
Here we go again:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Old news....

I want to see the numbers after the engine has over 1500 miles on it!!! I will be putting mine on the dyno in the next few weeks with full Akro with under 10 miles on it to get a baseline.. I will put it back on in the summer after about 6 Race weekends and several track days to get the numbers after breakin

Seems like some people that are inclined to want the V4R really should just get a H2R

For me, there's more to it than power.
Moreover, I just don't want the look of a bunch of plastic parts flying in formation.

650 ib used the same dynos he compared apples to apples. the bikes made the about the same hp.

Using the same dyno doesn't give you an apples to apples comparison. What did you all expect when they got rid of the cheater CC (displacement)? I can see why some people are a little disappointed since many cheap Japanese and German bikes can make well over 200whp without hardly any upgrades.

My zx10r race bike has incredible top end but it’s a dog otherwise. I wouldn’t worry about the max hp too much.
The way it is delivered has a much more important effect, especially on the street.

On track you gear correctly and stay in the meat of the delivery most of the time so max hp might be more important.

Especially if you’re Rea ,haha.

Rea isn't getting beat by the bike. He's getting beat by Bautista. The skill gap from MotoGP and WSBK is a lot more than everyone previously thought. This is evidenced by the fact many have the bike (V4R), but no one is handing it to the rest of the riders like Bautista is.

^^ Not so sure about that, Rea did 7th + 8th I think on his GP outings. Thats better than Bautista did 90% of the time. Its never just he bike or just the racer: its the package. Good rider on factory bike usually = good results...

I'm not discounting his familiarity with the bike allowing him to destroy the competition, but it's the rider. Again, is anyone else on the V4Rs even being competitive? Barely.

Rea having filled in for Casey Stoner in 2012 is a joke...why do you even bring it up? Try putting him with the current crop of riders and he's sure to get destroyed even worse than he is in WSBK.

Rea is not unfamiliar with his own bike.

Let's be honest with ourselves...the other V4R riders are getting beat by Sykes, who is a one lap wonder, and is currently riding a BMW S1000RR with a stock motor...lol

Bautista is killing it because he is riding a bike that fits his style of riding. 16 seconds ahead of the field reminded me of Mick Doohan's performance in WSB back in the mid-to late 1990's.
