V4R with pierobon swingarm

Had the bike in Spain with the new swingarm, it was a big difference, a lot more stable but a little slower to turn in , but worth it

good to hear, can’t wait for mine to go on….have you tried readjusting your front end after putting the new swing arm on?

you can probably dial back in some sharper turn in from the front end now without giving up the newfound extra stability.

Steven I’m out this weekend coming and I’ll have my suspension guy do a few small adjustments too the front to see if I can get it to turn in quicker without losing have of the back .
When is your swingarm arriving??

it’s already here, waiting on my rear shock to arrive from Ohlins to put it on, have shop time scheduled for the 15th of April

all at once I’ll have the Spark WSBK exhuast, Woolich harness and tune, H20 Radiator, the new brake Calipers (GP4-MS), the extended swingarm, custom valved Ohlins GP rear shock, and FGRT Front fork inserts and a few other little bits and bobbins installed to harden up some weak points on the bike

Every time I am reminded of the components you have in your bike, my head hurts! So mucho dollero in your build!! I haven't been on ducatimodified in a while, is there anyone else out there that has more $$ into a V4 than you Steven?? Don't you have like $50k into it just in parts???

Compared to the 4 wheels habit, it's chump change!
Exactly lol

I have a Porsche that I’m probably $350k into that I don’t even care about much anymore because of this bike….the bike is less than half the cost and is twice the fun.

I doubt there is a V4 out there including superleggera’s that have more into them than this one, and there’s a lot more that could be spent.

I went with upgraded fork inserts versus entirely new front forks for example.

None of it makes me fast though haha…I’m certainly faster than I was on it when I first got it, but that’s because the bike is custom fit to me everywhere and I made it easier to ride fast….but I’m so far below this bikes capability with my riding that the only thing that will make me faster now is more track time. Which this year will be my biggest “mods” moving forward. I was sidelined with an injury and surgery for about a 6 month window there, so I occupied my time building MY perfect bike, but I’m bout back to riding shape now so now only track time will make improvements in capabilities.

(Probably closer to $70k…$120ish all in)
