V4S ecu

Hey guys
I’ve just build a V4S from parts I had remove for my race bike and I bought a ecu and dash and blackbox from eBay but the ecu has a map for the arkapovic exhaust on it , And I’m running just the oem exhaust, does anyone know if I can get the mapping removed from the ecu ? The bike is running way too rich it’s backfiring a lot ,

Yeah, any dealer should be able to flash a stock map onto it. There are a few companies, SLR and Bren, who could do a bench flash.

Thank you , I figured as much , do you know if I can just send them the ecu or will the bike have to go to the dealership? Thanks again for your response

You’d have to have a good relationship with a dealer for them to even attempt a bench flash. Is the frame and ECU from the same bike?

Surely you want to get the best from the bike and either AKRA set up or the std set up are both not correct... why not just get the bike set up at a dyno? You've come this far surely the icing on the cake is a dyno set up of the AKRA fuelling? It'll also keep the good things that the AKRA set up has added?
