Good choice!

I have known Donnie Unger for years and you are in great hands for any future service work or upgrades my man! Raced with him in CCS and was even there the day he broke his back. WHich model did ya end up grabbing and where do ya live? I am in Alexandria and need another riding buddy to join the Ducati crew! Congrats dude- you will love spending time on this thing!

Hey Gunny - Donnie is a good dude. I have bought a few bikes from him. This time I nabbed a 1199Std with ABS. Seems like the best bang for the buck...although the Sachs rear unit decided to come apart yesterday and dripped its oil all over the curvy header and tire. Heard from Donnie after he returned from races at SP, it will go back to Duc Pond tomorrow. It's an amazing bike for sure, will take some saddle time to completely learn after coming off my track'd Hyper (love that Shenny track!). I am out in South Riding, let's ride sometime.

No way!

You like Shennandoah? You nuts! WAYYY too many tight turns, you are on the pegs the entire time around that track- like main much better! That concrete centrifical force bowl turn is cool though! VIR is still the best.
Man that is too obad to hear the shock blew. Hope your tire didnt soak up all the fluid? Say hi to him for me, mention the camo painted 748R I have as my avatar and he will laugh for sure. It was right before I deployed to Iraq.

Shenny is a blast on the Hyper. I used to race MX and Enduro, so you can see why I might like it. Besides, it's fun to back it into those tight turns and then torque blast my way past folks on those short straights. I do look forward to stretching the legs on the 1199 however. Some fluid on the rear tire, will assess it. If it's ruined, I will expect a new one. Will mention you to Donnie U when I go out to Duc Pond this week.

Include me! I'm from Charlottesville, but live in the wonderfully flat state of Florida. You know 318 miles and 11 corners.;)

All of my family is in VA, and my baby will be kept there.

I promise I can show you guys some of the best unknown roads in the state. Squids not invited. I'm an arse like that.:D

Sorry to hear about the shock leaking, i know that must have ruined your day. I too picked my bike up from Ducpond about 2 weeks ago. So far I don't have any complaints. I going there tomorrow to pick her up from the 600 mi service. Planning on doing some riding this Sunday so Pm me if you guys wanna tag along. Gunny have you heard about the MIRock bike fest thats happening this weekend? maybe we should gather up all the 1199 riders and head out there for the spectacular bikini contest.
