So I finally get a hold of my bike. It’s been an agonizing 6 month wait.

Coming from a 2-stroke Aprilia RS 125 and a CBR 600RR, the best way I can describe the SF is that it’s such an event!

Dealer installed mods so far are mag. wheels, DP rear sets, akra homologated exhaust and some cosmetics. The exhaust is very loud, I can’t imagine what a race exhaust would sound like in person.

I almost pulled the trigger on a base model that’s been in the showroom for a while but I’m glad I waited, the S suspension feels amazing.

I’m working on a cordona QS and tank bag install plus a winglet change.

Will update with some pics once I have them on.

Is that Akro exhaust fitted from the Panigale? I haven't seen it offered for the SF.

It’s the same part for both afaik.

Yep, it's on the configurator. At least in the European website it is.

Alkhater, congrats on the stunning bike. I'm getting the DP rear sets installed at my first service. Did you ever ride the bike with the stock rear sets? If so, any sense of how close to the OEM rear set position you can get with the DP set? In other words, can you match or get close to the same foot position on the DP sets compared to the stock ones?

It isn't apples to apples, but when I installed Woodcraft rearsets I took measurements from a fixed point for height and fore/aft positioning for the stock rearsets first, with the bike up on a Bursig stand so it was level and vertically straight. Then I set up the Woodcraft pieces right at those spots to start. I had ridden on the stock rearsets for a few months already (hated them, rearsets are one of the first things I change) so it wasn't a huge difference, other than the spectacular grip provided by the new pegs. From there I've moved the levers to where I can find them naturally.

Thanks and no I did not.

According to this image the closest position is +7mm higher than the factory pegs.

Actually, looking at an image of the DP rear sets, there can only be a maximum of 3 height positions. So, unlikely the OEM position is covered. Weirdly though, it looks like the rear (or backward settings) allow for 2 positions and the forward settings allow for 3 which contradicts the image in the post above. Oh well, 7mm is not too drastic of a difference for better grip and longer pegs.

Not to hype them here, I have no affiliation other than a user, but the Woodcraft sets offer stock height and raised height with 6 fine tune positions for each. They move via eccentrics so only the peg hardware is dealt with and not the entire mount. They are borne of racing where time matters.
They also have independent adjustment of each of the lever toe pieces, and everything is modular so if you break anything you don't have to buy the entire rearset, just the broken part (for example, just the toe piece and not an entire lever).
Oh, and they are way cheaper than the DP or nearly anyone else ($750USD vs $1235USD)

The DP sets do only offer 5 positions. The image is still correct afaik as it shows the 5 available positions relative to stock.
