Nothing seems to be leaking or I could smell it;
No oil loss that I can see, what could that be? Or is just road grime? Haven't had enough time to look at it properly so posting to see if anyone has had it ???

Since the rest of your lower radiator appears to be dry, it's either some residual water (did you ride it in the wet recently) or oil, which wont evaporate with the heat. As it is at the top of the lower radiator, check it's not a leak from the upper radiator or that your front cylinder cam cover gasket is not leaking, which might be a more likely cause. First off, I'd clean all the grime off and run the engine, checking for obvious fluid leaks. Take a look behind the radiators as well at the front cylinder head. If you place a paper towel over the radiator fins, if it soaks up the moisture, you'll be able to tell if it is oil or water. Hope this helps.

If the cam cover leaked wouldn't it only go backwards?
I did wash my bike pretty well the other day and might have got pretty friendly with the hose, and even wet my coil packs.
It doesn't seen to be leaking oil HAVNT looked yet tho, wouldn't I smell it or see oil gone from my sight glass. Still have the oil in it.

Weird how top of radiator has same stains. Thinking it's just road grime from riding in the rain over the years. Bikes done over 20,000km so it's not exactly new

Having seen your top radiator now as well, and if you are sure there are no other leaks, these stains look like some sort of oil based debris that's been thrown up by the front wheel (bitumen can do this). Try using a mild non-corrosive degreaser with a soft brush, to agitate the area and rinse well with water. Run the bike to allow any remaining water to evaporate and see what you are left with. There are some excellent citric degreasers on the market that produce a foam when applied, that absorbs any oil/contaminants which you then wash off.

Bit too hard to get everything off to suss the front of the engine and see if it's leaking but cause both too and bottom of radiator have them makes in different spots not just one section makes me beleive it's roads grime. My rsv4 has the same
Marks too but a bit less harsh but it has only done 4000km vs 20,000km on the 1199.
If it was leaking from the cam cover wouldn't it smell of oil, especially if it's leaking that much to be on the radiator.
Might just stop by Ducati and get them to see, as it's under warrenty

Sure looks like a weeping valve cover. When the bike is shut down, it drools down the head/cover surface and drools on the top of the radiator. Sure doesn't seem too active though. You should see the underside of my Porsche GT3RS. Now that is some serious weeping!!

Yeah I'm pulling fairings off now. Anyone else had this leak before ???
Meant to be going out for a ride! Not sure if I should

You would have to find the source first.

Maybe your lucky and it is road grime, but that much on your tires slinging it up means your lucky you didn't dump it due to oily tires, but it probably wasn't. Just babbling out load, bored.

Yep something's leaking.
Getting it fixed next week under warrenty ,
Without a doubt.
Anyone else had this?!

Yep the front one is leaking
At the bottom bit, then with riding etc it's dripping out on radiator.
Will be getting it fixed under warrenty

besides the gasket screwing up, any other reason it would leak here? or is it just like the back rocker cover where they gaskets they use are crud, i beleive there rubber.?
