Lol. They need to redo the r6 too. That bike is 8 yrs old.

The current generation of r6 is 6 years old the 06-07 are diff motor frame subframe and so on.. that being said everything the r6 currently competes in its very competitive. And wins a lot.. my 08 r6 keeps up quite well with brand new 600s and after the motor build can pull up hard on 750s down the straights. . Now the bike is definitely due for a redesign but it is not out date

there's a reason why the R6 is one of the most popular racebikes in its class

I will add its the only SS Yamaha that isn't Portly in stock form.. and after a few fun bits my bike weights 363lbs with 2gals of gas in her with 118at the rear wheel on u4.4 and a little more than that on Sunoco 260gtx ;)

we R1 , Mmmm , wait...

"U R many we R1, we will destroy you" - Ermac's pre-match battle cry from Mortal Kombat 2011 ;)

So that means Ermac is a Yamaha fanboy :p

I know this is totally off topic but I felt I had to make this reference when I saw the quoted pun..

Mine or thats what its going to stand for to me when I get mine, in the spring.

Shouldn't the MotoGP bike be called 1M for One Mission instead of M1?? Not that I care, just sayin'

Yamaha has 3 mission statements so it wouldnt make since.

Mission One - Win and Dominate MotoGp
mission two - build and sell the best and most streetbikes
mission three - take all super/motocross podiums and titles.

Yea RdP sucks. He's not even their rider for next year, he's gonna be a Suzuki WSBK rider. Bike didn't even make it 10 laps.
