What is this ”thing” in the swingarm?

Theoretically able to do a good job of managing the rear end given that the rear suspension is out of tune.

So IF your rear suspension tuner is out of wack and your over suspension tuner is on point the you’re on point.

Otherwise… save yourself the abomination and get a good suspension tuner.

Also in theory… the rear shock should be able to able to handle all swing arm movements… and in theory this oversuspension should be able to fine tune this movement.

BUT this would need some serious data logging and a proper engineer to get right. Probably also a more refined apparatus.

In my humble opinion… it’s a good idea but it’s ugly 😕

Totally agree with this. Works really well! Assuming you have tuned your rear shock AND fined tuned the oversuspension...which takes a lot of time, work, riding, feedback with your tuner. And would also depend on the surface/track you are riding.

If I’m correct about this gizmo… basically the purpose of what this does is tune the swing arm movement to frequencies the rear shock is unable to accommodate.

WSBKs etc. have mass dampers in the tail but they’re much larger. I’d speculate this is a what of selling it to guys on street bikes by scaling it down.

People have been conditioned to think that the solution to all their problems out there if only they could bolt on the right accessory. Those same people are 20 seconds of the pace lol! Maybe if someone was shaving 1/10ths and was on the absolute limit of suspension tuning then this thing might a difference? I am convinced that its 99% placebo for your average buyer.

20 sec off the pace sounds close to me. Might as well be a MotoGP rider
