How tall is the race seat, same height as OEM 1199 seat or 899/1299 seat?

The old race seat was about 25mm higher than stock seats...if this is true for the latest version dunno.

I didn't like the height of the comfort seat I got either (the way it sat me on the bike, don't give a .... about the feet on ground element) I took it to a custom seat dude, took original cover of lowered and shaped it for my butt, original cover back on....and now it's awesome!

You have obviously never done any Endurance racing.

And on Sprint race weekends, I race 3 different bikes (Grom, R6 and RSV4/1299S). So during a typical race weekend, I will do 10 practice sessions (5 each day), 2 x 20-lap races, one 6 lap race (Grom) and 5 x 8-10 lap races (depending on track length).

I do my best to ride the bike "the way it is meant to be ridden" and I can assure you, the seat makes a difference.

Thanks mate, guess I'm not after the race seat then, just re upholster a OEM 1199 seat then.

ACM in Melbourne modified my race seat to a similar profile to the stock seat. I now have a seat that still gives me the feeling I'm sitting in the bike with improved grip and comfort over the stock seat.

who is ACM ??
