1. 195...claimed HP. I'm gonna miss that low end kick in the ... but like they suggest, it's a whole different riding style so we'll probably adjust by riding a gear lower than normal..just get to 7500 rmp quickly ;-) lol

2. Electronic Features...OMG sofisticated yet very usable...yes plz

3. Dash screen !!! enough said!!! I already picture myself at the local bike night, everybody waiting for to slide the key in to drool over my crystal clear sceen :)

4. Riding position...shorter reach, more comfortable ...tho I never complained about laying out on my 999 or 1198. I like my adjustable rear sets far back too and high. A few journalist have mentioned that the foot pegs are perfect tho with suffitient ground clearance at great corner angles. we shall see ;-)

5. F'ing ... APPEAL!! damn she bad, I cant wait to riding her lol

1. Wet weight with a liveable 4.5 gallons of petrol.
2. Narrow width.
3. Electronics that are adjustable.
4. Beautiful dash - only gripe is that it isn't touch screen and no GPS functionality AFAIK.
5. Can't confirm yet, but I bet I'll love how fast the RPM's build from 7-11K @ WOT!

  1. Power to weight ratio is insane/exciting!
  2. New and improved motor from Ducati
  3. LED Headlights are just awesome
  4. Comfort and bike ergonomics
  5. Location of the exhaust system, best place to put that kind of required weight

1. weight/power ratio
2. desmodromic with 25 k km service interval
3. brembo monoblocs
4. looks
5. dash

1. The overall looks for me is a complete work of art.
2. The frame is more pleasing to my eye than a tubular frame.
3. The electronics are well beyond market leading.
4. The dash has lots of information readily to hand
5. The GPS facility which WILL be used at Brands Hatch in August :)

If I could afford two bikes I would have one just on show in the living room an dI would ride my other one every day of the week. However I can only afford one and it will be my blue sky toy as I am in a lucky enough position in life to do this I intend to have a blast! Happy riding brothers

3. Design/looks (I like it more than the 848/1098/1198 series)
4. Electronics package - seems to be amazing with lots of adjustments to play with!
5. Dash... a thing of beauty.

Can't wait to get my hands on mine!:D

you know what, you're right. how could I forget...CHAIN DRIVEN CAMS need to be way up there !!! lol

that's saving us a ton on maintenance

i'm also 50/50 on the wet clutch too but hey, less wear and tear. the bikes amazing :)

I'll play:

things I like

1 Power
2 light weight
3 improved handling
4 extended service intervals
5 design/styling

Things I would rather not have:

ABS
EBC
throttle modes
electro suspension
traction control
wheelie control

at the very least the bike should have the ability to completely disable the above electrickery.

The number one thing I would like from Ducati with this bike:

Give us the ability to tune the engine. Direct access to the engine map for tuning purposes.

:)
