Where is the V4R. You know the 1000cc WSB version. Yes yes yes the V4Speicale is nice and all what I really want is the V4R. No holds bar kick ass WSB version damn it!!!

I watched the live stream and was expecting to see an R too... but after Casey Stoner, that was all to be announced.

Next year maybe?

Hahahha yea good one I guess next year I'm sure is going to be a beast and yea that Speciale is a sweet bike

They will probably do just like the 1199. No R model 1st year of production. Next year though....

That is correct, no R model until next year for homologation for 2019 World SBK, they'll still be racing the current Panigale R for 2018.

im guessing next year. the R came out a year later with the 1199 so why not .

I guess WSBK will be a boring Kawasaki show next year as well then. Disappointing.

2019 Ducati V4R

Regarding the Ducati V4 R, this is directly from Ducati:

An R version with a displacement of less than 1000 cc - which revs higher and is intended more for track use - is currently at the advanced development stage. This will provide the foundation for the homologated version that competes in the Superbike championship, where this engine will be used starting in 2019 (one year on from the launch of the respective road version, as per the Ducati tradition).

I will be waiting for the R. When you weigh it up, the Speciale is just an S with nice paint, a couple other touches like the seat and the exhaust system....... you don't even get the wheels unless you pony up.

The R will have differences that you can't just get off of the shelf or DP parts catalogue. It's where my money will be going
