I didn't know they had those -- very cool. I dropped my V2 the first day I got it road-ready, and broke off a steering stop. The kickstand just punched through the pavement and the bike fell on the left side. Kind of funny, really, considering I had just replace the shift lever that morning to make it "good," and bent the replacement lever also. So I replaced it with one of the Spider units, which is great, but takes a little work to install, as you have to loosen the triple tree. It bolts on to the horn mount.
It's amazing how easily these stops break. Especially considering that it makes your bike impassible for road safety in American states if it's not there. I think even if you "fix it," or replace it with something like the Spider unit, it still fails inspection. They should do something like the R&G out of the factory.
