Whoa Nelly! Lotus Superbike.

um, yea, looks cool but: steering angle, cooling (i mean we know how hot a half encapulated 1.2 liter 195HP motor gets) - do they think this makes it better?
body position, rear suspension (straight).

bottom line:

good lookin poser bike

Butt. Ugly.

I always laugh when car designers try their hand at motorcycles. "How hard can it be? It's got half the wheels." lol

Wow, way for everybody to poo poo something new and creative. You all should teach art to children. "No Johnny, that is ugly and stupid." ;)

It's interesting, but that doesn't look to be well designed for track use.

I think it's pretty.
It certainly doesn't fall into any category of bike that I can come up with.... Museum/talk piece, rich guy trophy, concept bike.
I wonder if any will actually be built as part of a production run.
Can you imagine that bike with a Euro sized license plate?

Definitely neat!

i actually like the looks of it, it very much reminds me of the tron light cycle (which I think the same designer did):

I'd much rather own the Tron bike than that Lotus garbage. At least the Tron bike will be recognized by many since it was in the movie. The Lotus would be like insulting myself for having spent such a ridiculous amount of money for something that makes me cringe just looking at it. Ugly is an understatement.

Whatever, these are flipping beautiful.

Charlie alluded to it already, it is not a true "Lotus". A bunch of car guys licensed the name (now shame on Lotus) to create their vision of a Lotus bike. I can't get past that part to begin to appreciate any aspect of the design, other than the paint, which looks great.

This is just as bad as a haute couture ...... buying the Belstaff name and using David Beckham of all people to shill $2,000 pants out as "biker fashion":

....... hipster trash. These guys know how to out this crap: ........ Hipster Bike Videos

It looks like some kind of electric/hybrid bike. I think they are trying to gage the interest in the bike. If it's positive, then they will take the next step. So I don't think that is the production bike.

Probably has a SS motor in it  Oh boy lets get drunk and go to sturgis with all the other grampas and look cool because we know how to waist money better then the other pirates!

This will be a limited production model of 100 units. I think it's neat for what it is designed to be - moving art. I doubt you'll ever see this produced in larger numbers.

Why am I so reminded in the arguments between Todd Louiso and Jack Black in the movie High Fidelity as they scorn everybody's musical tastes as theirs is far more superior.

It has a modified 75 degree KTM engine. The bore and stroke are pretty close to the 1198: 105/69 to 106/67.9 respectively. Projected 200 bhp with a dry weight under 400 pounds.
