Will 1098/1099 wheels fit the 1199?

Not sure but I will have a better idea in the next few days as I will be on a training course about the 1199 range tomorrow :D
 
Hey Dave, While you are there can you check the diameter of the rear axle for rear stand insertion? Same as 996 ? Or 1098?
 
Took a look at the wheels centres and I dont think the 1098/1198 wheels will fit.
The spacing on the front discs will be a problem and the rear centre is much deeper that 1*98.

The hub size is the same as the MTS12 and the Diavel so if you have a late 1098 this stand will fit
Front radial stand is list in the 2012 catalogue is the same for all models too.

ok thanks...bst's for sale then.

do you think the 1098 front stands will work with the 1199?
 
stand part number 96797410B fits all radial front forks and is listed for the 1199.

You`d better check before you sell the BST`s as I didn`t measure the rear, just going by what I saw. The picture above is of the rear wheel centre. The hub `looks` like a MTS12/Diavel type so they may work......

I should have some more information for you early next week.
I should also know about the race fairings etc too.
 
Just learned the rear should bolt right up, the front will require brake rotor spacers, no spec yet. Rotors are identical to 1098/F1098 but different carrier buttons for sensors
 
Does anyone know for sure if the 1198 bst carbon wheels will fit on the 1199 or do they need different spaces for the front wheel?

by the looks of this photo, yes they'll fit. But most tech guys are saying the front wheel will need a spacer to allow for the wider brake set up

Front need spacer in brake disk,not know rear fit or not, please confirm rear marchesini 1x98 is ok for 1199.
