I've got just over 300 miles on my bike and I've already stalled well over 10 times at a red light and once while I was engine braking n coming to a stop doing about 15mph (scary feeling). It has stalled a few times right after starting the bike (in neutral) and letting it warm up and most of the stalls have occurred during traffic. I know this is a race bike and all that but is this normal? I know some of you have mentioned stalling at a light or whatever but is it once in a blue moon for you guys or often? I'm almost paranoid about engine braking now to the point where I pull in the clutch around 20mph as I'm slowing down. I just don't trust the bike at all. Is this a fueling issue or does the bike just struggle to keep those twin pistons strokin as the rpm's dip low (2.5k or less). I'm waiting for my first service to take it into the dealer to see if there's anything they can do about it but I wanted to hear feedback from fellow owners of this bike.

As if that isn't bad enough, my lower right side fairing is already turning yellowish brown so I'll have to get that piece exchanged as well. Mannnn, such a gorgeous bike but damn, these problems are crazy.

Had the same problem with my Pani. Have them reset the A/F ratio and the TSP. All will be good afterwards.

When they install the up-map it should sort it. Happened to me all the time on my Pani very disheartening. Seems to sort the fuelling out at idle.

Actually, the up-map is what started the problem for me. Like I said, if it's the same problem your A/F ratio and tps are out of sync and need to be reset. In my instance I had just had service work done and told them to install the latest upmap when finished. When I got the bike back I had the same problem doubleo is having. My Pani ran fine prior to.

Mine has never stalled. All updates to the mapping had been done when I took delivery of the bike.

Good luck getting yours sorted out.

Mine stalled one....but I was getting used to my CRG levers so that was most likely it.

mine has stalled about a dozen times in the first 1,000 miles. but only when i'm slowly lane-splitting in first gear, clutch pulled half-assed in, throttle just nudged. i think it's probably because i'm being too much of a ......

these bikes are like italian supermodels. they want to be ridden hard or they don't feel like dealing with you at all, repressed american boy!

Mine stalled 6 times in 100 miles, my dealer adjusted the TPS a tad and been fine now for last 150 miles?

Got it. Thanks

I hate all these acronyms to memorize, not only on this platform but also for my Evo as well. It's like a language in its own.

yeah, it makes it challenging trying to figure out what everything stands for...lol.

As a side note, I had my bike stall once after I just got it at idle when I fired it up for the first time. A couple times since then it has almost done it as the revs start to drop during idle at warm up. If I give it a little gas it is fine. Hasn't outright stalled since that first incident though.

I'm not sure the same thing is happening to me since it doesn't happen at idle, but it's temporally associated with having my bike tuned, ECU remap for race mode, but sport mode left stock.

I was riding home, got on the freeway and after about 15 minutes, 70 or so mph the engine just cuts off. Engine light comes on. I coast to the side of the road, cycle the fuel pump a few times and nothing. Engine error light still on. I turn it off, then on again after about 10 minutes, engine error light is gone starts up and runs fine to get me home. Called Ducati and of course they said they didn't think it was related to the tune.

Went out today just to see and after about 15minutes, same thing happens. This time at about 40mph, engine cuts out, engine error light comes up. Waited 15 minutes then it started. I'm going to have them come and pick it up to look at it, but I wonder if this is related to the TPS and A/F?

Same problem here. The bike has stalled numerous times and is a bit frustrating. I have rarely ever stalled with another bike and this one has stalled ten times in the last week.

No stalled for me with the maping and full termi.my older 1098s never stalled maping and full termi and the other 999 remus exhaust NO maping the bike stalled.

Once the 2nd updated map is installed...all those stalling problems will dissapear.
Have the 2nd updated Map installed. Ducati knows about these problems.

It was happening to my buddy's bike with termi slip-ons and up-map installed...
When the 2nd updated Map was put in...it now idles and runs perfectly...

My problem is not related to that. I have that map. I think I'll start a new thread else my issue will get buried.
