will you know if the head on the bike is wrecked ?

ever since my coolant blowout (see thread) where i had to ride it a bit with no coolant and it was getting very hot where it was saying high temp, iv now ridden a extra 5000km since then, no issues. should i have iossues by now if it did screw my head or gaskets? or is it more long term then that, or if it hasnt stuffed up by 6000km since then it should be fine? cheers

Assuming you have been riding it properly (ie not going slowly everywhere) for those km then it's fine. If there was damage then you'd be getting overheating or coolant in the oil or whatever straight after the blowout.

Just keep an eye out for coolant in the oil and vice versa. Sounds like you dodged a bullet.

A warped head will let you know usually, pretty obviously. So your likely ok.
