Hey guys, what's everyone's favorite tall/race windscreen so far? I'd like better wind protection on the track than my current DP tall screen. Also would prefer darker tint.

So what's your favorite and where did you purchase? Most sites I check they're all on backorder.
Cheers

PUIG for me, can't remember where. It is so frustrating to install sometimes with the nuts up front. I'm not a fan of the super glue method, nothing wrong with it though, but I just hold them in place with small needle nose pliers.

Thanks, Puig was my first choice but at the time it was back ordered at all 3 websites I tried. I'll look again.

I picked up my dark tint zero gravity double bubble from pure performance cycles.

Yes - I had a ZG Corsa Clear on my 1198 - perfect fit an optics. However, I went with PUIG for my 1199 as I'm not a fan of tinted screens and that's all ZG were offering.

SBTG still out of Puig. Bellissimoto has the ZG, has anyone tried the Corsa model?

Just ordered the Puig [dark smoke] from indysuperbikes.com. They only have dark smoke & smoke in stock. The best price out there as well at $68 with free shipping.

Installed the Puig in clear...good optics, good wind trajectory when tucked in...bitch to install though.

Instrument Panel Glare

For those who have fitted a dark or light smoke windscreen: Have you found that this eliminates or lessens the glare on the instrument panel, especially the reflection of the Ohlins steering damper which obliterates the lower quarter of the panel? Thanks and apologies to OP for the highjack!

No apology necessary, it's a good question. I'd like to know the answer myself.

DP. no tint. works great and allows a just over 6ft rider to get below it as apposed to looks. I'd also be concern the tint messes with the dash's ability to auto dark.

Well, as luck would have it, Indy just emailed me to tell me the screen I ordered is on backorder again. They said the Dark Smoke and Black were still available FYI. I prefer clear or light smoke on my track bikes.

Windscreen Screws

I changed out my windscreen and lost one of the rubber grommets/fastener. I don't want to remove the front fairing. Does anyone know where to get replacement screws that come with the fasteners or grommets?

I saw the Lightech kit, but it doesn't look like they come with fasteners. Thanks.

This happened a lot when I was doing it. Just get a flashlight and a hanger. Gently pull back the fairing, find the grommet, and snag it with the hanger. Viola!

I did that with one of them... About 5 times after it kept falling off after I super glued it to the windscreen. I couldn't see the other one anywhere.

cobra do you have a picture of the db zero gravity on the bike thats what i think im going with although i cant decide on dark tint or light as of now

Hope that helps. IMO dark is the way to go.
