I have the full termi with no big ugly shield like the 2013 2014 my bike is 2012 l just want to wrap the exhaust under the seat any diferrence or not?

I tried two different types of wrap and both turned to brittle glass after about 4 weeks of riding (approx 10 hours).
Wasn't happy to say the least with the amount of time it took to wrap it without undoing all the covers etc.

Aside from discoloration, wraps have a tendency to absorb water and can damage the unseen areas. I would go with ceramic or powder coating.

Love the wrap on my Termi.

NO issues no problems less heat.

Much cooler then stock.

I think your nuts not running the new CF heat shield, or you will be roasting your nuts.

I wrapped my full system on the racebike, ended up with a 10 cm hole in one of the cans... Titanium dont like to much heat:(

I think that could have been a design flaw but it is just a guess.

If that were the normal case, you would think we would get that out of the ceramic coated exhaust as well.

I only wrapped under the seat.

I've been saying this since 2012 for those who need cooler seats.

1) Remove the seat and line the bottom of the seat with thermal tec tape.
2) reinstall seat

best $15 you will ever spend on your bike.

IMHO that's snake oil... The seat itself doesn't get hot, the areas around it
Will.

BTW
Heat? What heat?

I agree, I have had wrap on for at least 6 months with an improvement to temps around the legs, still gets warm when city riding but not as bad as without, no issues with the wrap getting brittle or breaking down, use expensive wrap should have no issues.

Ya I did that dei titanium wrap on the 1199 and the husaberg. no issues.

This rig was hotter then hell coming out of the canyon frying my sacks with leathers on.

Now, what heat?

Within 1 month of riding my foam in my seat was burnt to crisp and got really hard from the heat. Added the full Termi with ceramic coat, thermal tec tape the bottom of my seat, added shift tech carbon frame covers, did the gen II heat shield and all is good. Butt doesn't get hot anymore, thighs don't burn and I ride in 100 degree weather without dreading the heat anymore. Track riding was never a problem but the occasional street riding is 200% better.

I fail to see your logic re the ceramic coatings?

I'm thinking fuel grade/quality may be a factor, as after owning the bike for two years and riding in temps >105F, it has never been more than mild discomfort. Never even considered the v2 heat shield and associated ugliness.
