Any one have a write up for a Termi slip on install?

Definitely something Id rather tackle myself than have a dealership do, I'd just like to know what I was getting into first before tackling it :)

I can walk you through it check out the irc. The install manual is also available online and with the kit.

Oh so it does come with some instructions? Thats good to hear. I searched thru a few pages and then I did a google search and actually did come up with some how-to's. Gonna scan thru em quick.

...maaay let the dealer do it haha idk. I dont have a stand or anything right now for the pani.

The install instructions themselves really dont look too bad aside from the paragraphs being long and not separated step by step. A few threads Ive read a lot of people seem to have had some huge head aches from the install though.

Hope you like the video and hope it helps someone.

Thanks for wathching in advance and have a great day to everyone.:D

DIY: "How to" Video Installing your Termignoni Slip-on Exhaust. Ducati 1199 Panigale. - YouTube

It's ok, I give it a 5 out of 10. I'll do the real video when I do mine that includes missing parts, stripping at least 3 things (including a couple in the block), gratuitous use of adjustable wrenches, hexes and flat heads used to remove torx screws, loctite slathered all over the new termi cans, rubber mallet to get things on and off, broken fairing tabs, cold chisel to remove flapper valve, etc. You know, a video for the rest of us.

All kidding aside, great job! :)

Why bother removing the flapper?? Its sprung open..does no harm..

hahah yes it did look super simple. And the fact that it's doable in 10mins and a few seconds is impressive :p

Still nice to see the general gist of things for now.

We really don't to hear your experience trying to replace the OEM shock guard, it was just 3 screws for chrissake! :D

Is the install doable on a rear wheel stand? I presume so, yes?

I take its doable with the bike on the side stand as well? But a much bigger pain in the ... Im sure.

That shock guard was almost as hard to install as the comfort seat. I ended up having to tap all 4 locations since I stripped them out. I also broke 3 tabs on the fairings removing them to do the shock guard install. :(

Wait till you see my write up on Carbon Fiber sticker Tank Guard!

I still have my reservoir socks laying around. I have no idea where they go, or how to install them. That's the youtube I want to see. After I master those, I'm going to try and R&R my passenger pegs - I read somewhere they are removable.
