They were using SC0's which at this time of year with only low 30degC track temps would be struggling to get up to temp, hense why the temps being lower than pirelli's advisement. Alot of pictures of Teams left side tires cold tearing.

different at MotoGP time during summer when track is much hotter.

Here is the data on what compounds everyone was running in race 2. This is not the data for race one, which had more people on standard rears. Nobody on 0's this round. Rea mentioned that they simply couldn't find the setup this weekend from opening practice. Sometimes it just doesn't go your way

His team couldn't find the right set-up yet he loses Race 2 by 1 foot. Will this be a 4-peat?!?!?

I wouldn't be surprised if it is. I think he's on a mission to win despite the fact that Dorna put rules into place to slow team Kawi down. Melandri deserves a medal though for hanging on to that bike. It looked like it was trying to throw him off even in a straight line.

Great racing glad the season has begun. I wish Chaz would stop crashing he has so much talent. Marco rode his ass off despite having to wrestle his Panigale when the pace picked up in both races.
Hats off to Leon Camier he rode that Honda hard i didnt expect that result. Dude has skillz!!!
Yamaha, BMW, and Ape need some podiums this year.
Factory Suzuki needs at least one bike in WSBK no excuse for them to be missing from the party.
