I'm located in North GA. Going to put K-Tech cartridges in right away, so fork seals/oil don't have to be good.

Seems like 1299 base forks are the same as 1199 base forks. So either would do. Thx.

Originally, I was looking for 1199 base forks (Marzocchi). But I realized the K-Tech cartridges I ordered are actually for the 1199S. So I'm now looking for the Ohlins forks from a 1199S, 1299S, or V4S (2018-2019, not sure about 2020+). Also will need a top triple clamp from 1199S. Thx.

V4S forks seem to use the same brake rotors, axle, spacers, so I'm pretty sure they'd work on a 1199S. But what are the gold circular disks on V4S forks, between the caliper mounts on the fork bottoms? 1199S/1299S forks don't seem to have those. I just want to make sure the calipers on my 1199 will mount up to the V4S fork bottoms without issue.
