I guess I should not have been surprised. With .... like plastic pump gears, single compression rings, inadequate cooling systems, etc, I prolly shoulda expected this from the gate. Pulled my forks apart and that bitchin titanium nitrate coating doesn’t go all the way up the tube lol
So I say to myself “Wtf, why would you only want low friction at one end of the bushing?”
My suspension guy says that the forks that come on our bikes are not even made by Öhlins. They’re supposedly made FOR Öhlins and they just put a sticker on em and sell em to Ducati. I know damn well why whoever made em didn’t treat the whole tube. Cuz that costs more. Wonder where they are made???
