When you ride more miles in a month than you did in a whole year on your last bike. Just hit 1300mi after ~1 month of ownership. Lovin' my Panigale!

Edit: I know it's not a lot by some standards but I'm just canyon-strafing in mine, not doing cross-country.

I've done 300 miles in 2 days on mine. And I've got other bikes to ride. Can you tell which is my new favorite?

And when was the last time you had a model shoot with your bike for free? Bet that wasn't with a German or Japanese bike!

Moar pix when my photog uploads them. The on-bike pix were best!

It's impressive that she agreed to model with a bike that still has the reflectors on the forks:D

It has the factory giant license plate holder and signals too. Not my fault all that wasn't 'shopped out :)

And no, I'm not rockin' a Nike swoosh above the model designation - it's camera flash LOL

Hey Baibaicop, Thanks for sharing.

Hey Baibaicop, Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I hope nobody thinks I'm gloating about owning a R (don't see any of that but just sayin'). The Panigale is a special bike that draws shittons of attention in any variant. Half the time (~90min of shooting) we hand to stop for looky-loos to pass by. Fun time!!!

You still have a lot of aftermarket work to do...

;)

Totally open to suggestions! I plan on the DP CF Fender Eliminator over the winter, maybe Sato rearsets and DEFINITELY removing the ....... charcoal canister! That's all on my radar at the moment.

We are all proud of owning a Panigale and doesn't matter whether it's a base, S , Tricolore or R. We are all brothers with the same passion.

Having owned one, get a rizoma or lightech. And I would recommend something other than Sato, I wouldn't even put that .... on my jap bikes.

Hmmm. I've had 6 bikes with Sato rearsets on them over the years including a 1098 and Hyper. Only the Hyper had fitment issues. Quality has been great too. Do Rizomas work with the GP quickshifter?

Get rid of the insect antennas and you are good to go....great bike ;)

Def a good point I think they destroyed the bike... And as far as rearsets go hard or go home you already bought the best trim of the bike might as well keep going. And rearsets are worth more then the carbon on the bike as far as performance over appearance.

Ducati corse rearsets or Lightech or metaltec are the shyt!!!!! Got my corse rearsets for free if I had to pay probably would go with Lightech but I am beyond happy with the corse....

you know you got the right bike when you there are other bikes who would love to tail you and try to over take you and if they do, they will brag about it.

coming from an 848 with an aesthetic mirrors, I appreciate the insect antennas, I mean a ducati sports bike with working mirrors. we did not have that with the 916 till the 1198's
