Sorry but I’ll try and make this question make sense . Ok my Ducati v4sp has factory button on right hand that activates heated grips . I am looking for a new right hand zero slop throttle that includes a button to activate heated grips .currently iv used Ducabike. CCP/10 from mani at motomilion on my standard v4 . As far as electrical pins . Factory has 6 pins and Ducabike has 6 pins .same pins but factory has button for heated grips .you would think it would take one More pin ? . I’m looking for new zero slop throttle with all control buttons but also includes heated grip button . Next question would be .ccp/10 Ducabike will connect together to factory plug .but will it short something out . I’m sure someone has done this . Anyone have info thanks

There isn’t a right hand switch gear with integrated throttle tube for the V4 as far as I know.

I would use the domino throttle tube and I believe there’s several choices for switches with heated grip controls…. WRS, jet prime etc

Zero slop I decided not to run heated grips on Ducati v4SP so I used duca bike switch controls .( Nice ) One other advantage is I have clip ons and really is nice to have extra length is wiring as before I had trouble with it pulling out cable .

Up map troubles . Hope someone can help as I’ve reach out to Ducati three times and not heard anything . . So I have Ducati v4 2020 and recently got Ducati v4SP 2021 so I’ve purchased two Terganami slip on kits with UpMap and filter from motomilion .Mani‘s been great . So fist I assume the T 800 pucks are all universal until you plug them into a bike . So I started down load and it stops at 39 % multiple times . Then for some reason after a few beers thought I needed to buy a UpMap download for $159 and still nothing. I grab the other puck and it started downloading .it went to 100% . Started bike up next day backfiring run like hell so then went back to the first puck and then it went to 100% then download the Terganomi film it started up everything seems fine . So now the second puck that download to 100% will not do anything on my standard v4 no blue tooth light or nothing . First puck does recognize both serial numbers on T 800s so I assume that I’m screwed but don’t know why it wouldn’t download guess I should’ve been patient .and tried again later .but hoping somebody would provide a new puck without spending $400 that’s crazy . So am I screwed or is it possible I had a bad puck .I’m hearing that more and more . What does anyone think Ducati should do .your opinions thanks . Ya it’s confusing but long story short .I have plugged both pucks into one bike went back to original one that stopped at 39% the next day it down loaded to 100% and finally work .

Yeah, its a little much.

I'd speculate the problem came from switching the T800s between bikes and using both on the same account.

It can cause big problems if you don't allow ECU writing to complete. I would contact Up-Map (although they are horrendous at customer service, and their product is not suitable for sale), and see what their advice is. I would see if your local dealer can flash your ecu back to stock.

I wouldn't hold your breath, and worst case, you're buying a new ECU, key and dash.

I would have thought a 2020 and a 2021 would have had different OBD plugs under the seat, but I suppose one could just switch connectors on the T800s. I've used them successfully on two different bikes more than once, so IDK. Getting impatient when flashing electronics is a recipe for disaster.

Damn. What a pain in the a**.

It’s a shame stand alone engine management solutions are so much more expensive than in the automotive community (you can go Motec and custom motorsports-grade wiring harness for $8-10k in the supra community).

Is there really no one running a custom harness and something like a FuelTech or Maxxecu on a panigale? I know there are plenty of Suzukis and Kawasakis running them.

It would be a fun project to run something like a full Motec system on a Panigale but alas, you'd be looking at $20k for the kit with all the logging functions. Of course its simply not needed for 99.9% of Panigale owners. Dudes putting on a slip on just need to be patient and work slowly and carefully.

I’m putting a Motec system in my Porsche right now, it’s about $11k with a couple grand if that going to the tuner for tuning. Kinda crazy that it’s about $9k for the hardware on the Porsche but $20k for the bike….there are probably fewer people running Motec Porsches than Motec Panagali’s….so economies of scale don’t apply to the price difference.

Most Porsche guys who run secondary fueling systems for big power use a Syvecs system….

To the OP….NEVER flash your ECU unless you cover every base to make sure you don’t get interrupted mid stream…fully charged batteries, good internet or blue tooth connections etc.

With the UpMap s, the newer ones tag to the bike serial number, precisely so you can’t use them twice.

If I understood right abs you previously installed one on another bike then put a newer one on you kinda screwed yourself, plus you let the upload stop midstream…both Big no no’s.

I suspect that you are going to have to shell out for a new upmap and start from scratch…I’d do that because it’s the lessor of two evils where you have to scrap your ECU

Yep - my point exactly.

$4k or so for an m130, $3k for a dash/DL, $3k for a harness, $2k for install and tune - $12 or so? Doesn’t seem it should be almost twice that as SBU is charging.
