Are both engine casings and mounting points the same? And same question for the engine electronics (ie harness, sensor, ecu, etc) Eventually I would like to get a spare engine and build it. If the 1299 is the same physically externally, I would much prefer to go that route.

Has any one put s wheels onto a base model 1299, I believe I need to get some spacers made, has any one done this and what size spacers did you use?

Does anyone know if theres a difference between the two? I know the pivot for the 1299 is 4mm lower but the actual swinger itself... doesnt look any different. Slightly different part number...
