If anyone has the DP rearsets installed were you able to safely run the shifter rod in the middle hole (shorter shift position)? Mine looks like the nut would be very close to the swingarm so have it in the top hole now but the throw is quite long

already used search... why didn't ducati add this feature for the 1299? seems like only way to adjust the "free-play" (to generally accepted 3mm-5mm) is to dissassemble and add somekinda "bumper" at the rest area... i don't like too much play
