Hello folks Got RK 230 gxw chain laying around and its time to change the chain. So would it be fine to fot 230s on the oem sprockets or do i have to stick with 525s? Many thanks for any info

Is it normal for the chain/rear wheel to make a cracking sound, when been rotated by hand, bike on rear stand. Chain is well lubricated and tensioned correctly, tried search, with no results. Thanks for any info.

Does anyone make an extended chain guard for the rear sprocket??? the stock one is a short stubby one and as you all know the chain likes to spit crap all over the underside of the tail. If not Ill just make one... throw your thoughts my way

So, my new Panigale loves to coat the left underside of the tail in little specks of guck flying off the stock chain. What have you guys done to get the chain all nice and clean? I have an aerosol chain lube that goes on clear so after a good cleaning this should no longer be an issue.

I am changing the gearing and I have always used a 520, even racing years ago. My dealer advised me against it for the 1199 and said I should stick with the 525. I guess it is not needed but again I have always put it on my bikes. Any thought would be appreciated. Am I just being silly.
