So finished my body work today and go for a test ride when I notice the light is on after start up. It wasn't before and all I disconnected has headlights, taillights, turn signals. I have the plug in for the kickstand. Can any of these for some strange reason cause a check engine light??

My bolts that hold my front sub frame to the motor had to be re torqued as they were loose my bike was the fifth bike that need to be done a few were quite loose . Might pay to pull the tank off and check them .
