Stripped bolt holes for clutch cover - Helicoil?

While tightening down my clutch cover guard, thought the clicking sounds were from the torque wrench, set to 11nm. Nope, stripped the thread holes of the top 4 holes holding the clutch cover on. Felt like I barely applied any pressure. So now I’m faced with: Replacing the clutch housing...

    Clutch shudder

Just wondering if anyone has a clutch shudder when taking off. Mine only does it when cold for the first couple of take offs but it definitely does it. To note the clutch lever is fine when it does it so nothing to do with the hydraulics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Clutch slave question to improve finding neutral

Any input on what aftermarket clutch slave would be a good replacement for the crappy oem clutch slave. Finding neutral is hard sometimes. Is the CNC racing 30mm clutch slave any good or are their others who can chime in and give feedback on better quality clutch slaves...

The return of the Dry Clutch

With the additional of the dry clutch is the V4R worth the money now? One thing that I can say is... at least this version of the V4R and the S/Speciale models are actually different. The first edition(s) of the 1199R and S models had more similarities.

    959 clutch slave cylinder sticking.

So basically brand new bike. Less than 900ks when I first noticed this problem. During a pre ride check over I pulled in the clutch and heard a squeaking noise from around the slave cylinder. Only did it once and then was fine. Today I noticed it again except this time it squeaked consistently...

2017 Ducati 1299 Oberon clutch slave

I just purchased an Oberon clutch slave cylinder for my bike and was trying to install last night but have a question? The instructions from Oberon say to reuse the plastic grommet from the original slave? It won't fit in the Oberon one, and if I used the stock one the bots they supply with...

Hey guys, I've been scrolling the web to see what these actually look like fitted on the 1299. Would anybody be kind enough to show me a pic of theirs and any comments for and against? One with the upper cylinder plastic cover removed would be even better

Clutch going soft after track day

I have a problem of my clutch lever going soft after a track day or 1.5 track days on a weekend event. It happened twice already. Feels very spongy with lots of free travel like there is air in it, and it messes up quick shifter I believe. I had several misshifts in COTA this past weekend at...

Clutch bulletin + Rear brake issue

Just a reminder to check your rear brake caliper and let your dealer know if your clutch slowly loses feeling. I've been having to bleed air out of my clutch every couple hundred miles, no big deal, but apparently there was a bulletin put out less than 24 hours ago about that issue. Also, my...
