Guys I may be barking up the wrong tree but since I fitted the comfort seat the heat problem seems to be reduced. I think The seat seems to position my legs in a way that more air circulates, reducing the heat build up.

Anyone buy one, sat on one? Is the fabric a no slip like the neoprene they use on dirtbikes? Is it longer toward the front? When my girl is on the back she constantly slides forward and ends up in my seat with me. On my 1198 we gave up and she just shared my seat and it was fine, she's small...
