well, there is always a first time.
for a guy who crashed probably >10x on the street, just another time on the track before and some minor runoffs, this one was a bit different.
third race of the day, fist two i landed 2nd, so this one had to be 1st.
kid who won the others is 22 years...
Ok so we all know how expensive parts are for these bikes. Im thinking so crash protection might be a wise idea for more aggressive riding.
Id love to avoid insurance in the case of a lowside.
Im thinking axle sliders, frame slider, swing arm protector, tank guard.
Hell i even...
This runs the gamut from hilarious to scary. Some lessons to be learned here and others are just entertainment:

Hello Everyone.
Not sure who here is aware that our Moderator and thread Master STW recently went down on his 1199 and suffered a broken arm and leg, and is now home after a short stay in hospital??
I do not know condition of the bike at this point but have been texting with him and he...
Hi All,
I don't know if this was posted before because I couldn't find anything related during a search. Omega10, Don Levesque from Deland, FL, was involved in a single bike crash on an on-ramp when he was on the way to a group ride on Sunday almost 2 weeks ago. He was taken to Daytona Beach...
For those who have the Sato sliders and track they failed for me on an average low side. The right side simply popped off (the original side of the low side) and the left side bent. I won't be using sliders ever again I think. I believe they contributed to my bike flipping and causing way more...
Frosty hits a deer, and over here on the east coast, I got taken out by a stick in the road right at corner entry that I somehow didn't see. Stick was about the size of a TP tube. Wasn't even going fast (45 mph), but because it happened right at turn-in, it slammed me down on my head and...
I assumed when I heard about it, it was just a passenger plane crashing in the mountains. It's a 747 cargo jet stalling on takeoff, just wow...

Hi anyone purchased the reevu crash helmet which has a rear mirror in the back of the helmet. Just curious of how good the system and helmet is? This helmet could allow me to take off the panigale mirrors which are useless anyway!
Saw this on the org, and was not sure if it was posted here yet.
This incident happened in the exact area I was born and raised in CT. I know the same stretch of road where both bike and car drivers are known to push it due to a wide open area where CSP Troopers seldom wait. This idiot not...
Horrible shot of the Ducati 1199 Panigale going of Carlos Checa's head during crash. Geez.
Carlos Checa as Ducati Panigale 1199 flies over his head during crash.
Here's hoping that he'll will heal up soon and get the Panigale back on the grid after his recent WSBK get off.
Has anyone crashed a Panigale yet, other than that racer in South Africa who tumbled his at high speed 30 feet in the air? I keep hearing about how the Panigale can't survive a crash, and I have yet to see any crash other than the aforementioned South African crash, which looks like it would...
A lot of hoohaa will be going about with this, It does look a mess but to be fair it looks to be a high speed crash and the rear wheel actually snapped off from the swing arm not the swing arm from the frame. So actually the frame is intact :D
This is one trashed 1199 Panigale - Snippets -...
