400 ml over fill on my oil level after change at the dealer

Decided to check the level and noted it was above the window. Siphoned off excess to top line. 400ml exactly. At what excess volume do youmfellas think a problem might occur? Any instances of related mechanical issues amongst the members?

Expensive Recall dealer visit, but kinda my fault.

Firstly my comments are just my opinion, its seems these bikes can vary dependent on location and rider style. For me its been a transformation, its just the slip on kit, but having ridden 750 miles on the standard setup riding the long way home for the dealers last night was night and day...

Going into dealer for recall fix up tomorrow :)

I personally don't find anything wrong with my bike, but might as well get it fixed up sooner than later. I'll be meeting two other owners getting the fix up....Panigale owners party at SoCal Ducati! haha

Dealer delivered my bike to me today(Sunday)

Well after a few months of enjoying the comments and people on this forum as well as two demo rides as a precursor to buying this bike I went to dealer yesterday and decided to stop procrastinating and buy the sucker! As I signed the last paper a storm rolled in. I asked them if they wouldn't...

It looks like i might be able to ride it home (3 hours) and avoid the trailer. Is there room to store at least the manual on the bike? Thanks

Please register your 1199 problems with Ducati via you dealer

Poor starting when hot - often requiring the bike to be bump-started; Clutch failure - likely from cooking the fluids, since the colour...

1199s 24hours and going back to dealer

Just a heads up. I took delivery of my 1199s on Friday, and after a long day of riding on Saturday. My bike wouldn't start. I first had thought it was the battery but after a little trouble shooting. The starter has appeared to have failed. :( I just hope this is not a issue with our bikes...
