dqs

Need some of advice on a DQS issue. Has anyone had issues with their quick shifter not working correctly on an intermittent basis. Seems to work initially on a ride then just stop working for some reason. I already had it back to the dealer once and they thought they knew what the fix was for it...

Does dqs not work until 630 miles are up?

i have a 2012 1199 and sometimes when i use dqs with hard throttle it gets stuck in neutral or sometimes at like 3 4 and 5 when i try to shift it up just stays in the gear it's already on. Any body else have the same issues?

you guys always use it or only sometimes? I'm starting to use it all the time whenever i get on my bike even if its just daily riding on the highway. was just wondering if its bad to use it all the time.

I'll preface my question with the admission that I have no idea of the DQS hardware/software components nor have I previously had a bike that had a quickshifter of any type . . . in short I am probably going to ask a really stupid question . . . If you have to have DQS it may as well work on...

With DQS, it sometimes misses the shift from 4th to 5th, whatever the mode (race or sport)... It sometimes act like it gets into neutral, redline then back to 4th. Sometimes it gets into 5th then returns to 4th... It happens maybe 5% of the shift i make from 4 to 5... Anyone had this?

Right, some advice please... Can you use the DQS to down shift as well asup shift? I have been able to down shift with it, but am wondering if you are suppose to and if it may damage it or bike at all... Thanks

Hot damn, the more I fall in love with my bike the more I fall in love with it. The DQS at right-on, or just under, 5k with a moderate throttle is just butter. It works everywhere, but that's where it makes every other gearbox feel like.. well.. ..... :D That is all... ..as you were...

Never had one before and waited till after the service and pipes installed to unleash it. Seamless shifts with it above 8K RPMs... Great exhaust pop at and above that range when shifting! Little hitch in the transition below 6500 Totally digging it at the upper RPMS. Not practical...
