Just installed my comp werkes fender eliminator and overall I'm pretty happy with it. My question for all of you who also have this kit, did you wire it the way the directions say to?
I don't mean which wire hooks up to what as there is only one way to do that, I actually soldered everything...
Just returned from vacation up in New England and of course stopping to see my good friend Sean Lezotte was priority #1. The pic notes are by Sean himself and I will be having some pro photos done with it on the bike very soon. It's awesome how it changes in the sunlight!
For those who...
Anyone know who makes the nicest quality fender eliminator? Non of the cheezy competition werks sheet metal crap, I want something nice like a melotti or something like that.
Also, anyone know if there is anyone doing integrated brake light/turn signals?
Anyone available online now that has installed this before on their own? Im getting ready to attempt to install this and thought it might be best to talk to someone who's done it already first.
Ok so I've gotten different answers on this from people on here and from CW... I'm trying to figure out if this FE works with the rear passenger pegs and the current heat shield installed. CW tells me no, some people on here say yes, and others say no.
I have searched like crazy and haven't...
I searched around but didn't find what I was looking for so here goes...
Now that people have had them on for a little while is anyone having any issues? When I talked to the tech at my local dealership months ago, I thought he mentioned something about issues after installing aftermarket...
Does anyone know how to remove the rear fender? My competition werkes fender eliminator just came in and i want to install it myself. Only problem is I dont think i have the right tools. It appears that i might have the wrong allen wrenches?? The ones i have are the standard L shape. Can someone...
I've read up on some of the previous posts about the fender eliminators and turn signal lights available. But most of it is old information. Anyone have any new information on new fender eliminators and integrated tail lights or turn signals? Looking to probably get the competition werkes fender...
Anyone install this yet? Does it require any drilling on the bike or how is hte quality? Anyone know if this brand is any good?
I like the fact that the signal lights are in the vents of the tail.
"Made from CNC cut 304 stainless steel. Includes vent mounted smoke-tinted LED turn...
Ordered mine today!
2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale, 1199 Panigale S, 1199 Panigale S Tricolore Standard Fender Eliminator
Both versions are $159, much better pricing than everyone else IMHO.
Okay so I went to my local shop In fullerton Motorhelmets looking to modified the license plate because after taking delivery of my beautiful Panigale I could not stand to look the OEM license plate holder even my 10 year nephew made fun on the thing its so hideous, let's get to the point.
I...
If anyone has put this on be careful. Rear brake line and traction control wires on my 1199 base were pinched and cut by the carbon fender. As the suspesion compresses while riding the lines flex and get caught rubbing the carbon fender edge. Luckily I noticed it before it was cut all the way...
So I finally got my brand new tri coloure yesterday and the first thing I taught to myself was this fender has to go. So I looked at the DP kit and saw that it was barely any smaller. So today I decided to make my own. Went to my local cyclegear and pick up there universal tag bracket and a set...
Just in case anyone here is a fan of Comp. Werkes fender eliminators (like me) I just got a reply back from them that they will be releasing their fender eliminator for the 1199 at the end of the month during USGP Laguna Seca.
I don't know about all bikes, but I bought theirs for my Triumph...
