headlight

I was wondering how difficult it is to replace the headlight fairing. I looked at the parts diagram here but not much help. Thanks- 2012_1199Panigale_DucatiOmaha pg 98 has the headlight fairing

sooo.. come across lots of cheap S LED headlights avalible. none seem to come with the wiring harness with is another part you need to make the lights work on base. still not sure if this is actually true as the sellers arnt even sure.... has anyone else put s headlights on base and whats...

Just gathering observations now that I've gotten a chance to do some night riding. My base has quite a lot of light bleed behind the headlights at night, around the edges where the fairing pieces don't meet up, so it's not sealed well. Lots of open gaps there that cause light leakage back in...

So I pulled the left fairing to pull the "light" fuse for a trackday on Sunday b/c I didn't want the hassle of cleaning off baked on goo from taping up the lens. But the headlight fuse also runs the dash lights so pulling the fuse is not an option. I'm looking through the access holes...

Is there a way to run just the LED parking lights while doing daylight riding? I thought I had read somewhere that it was possible to keep the low and high beams off. BTW this is obviously for a standard 1199

I've used the search function and haven't found what I'm looking for. I'm about to pull the trigger on a LED headlight assembly for my base 1199. does anyone know what type of wiring harness or what needs to be changed in order to complete this conversion?

Just browsing for available parts on ebay and found LED headlights up for sale.. DUCATI LED HEADLIGHT UNIT PANIGALE 1199S 52010222B Seller seems reputable, ships from Netherlands. I'm sure they won't last long! They're only charging almost half of what my dealer was quoting.
