Hello every one ... i use To have The Ducati 1198 2011 model and i use To have big problems Some times with Heat Under The seat ?? ... however i`m welling To Buy panigale 1199s ... is The Heat Gone or still over There and is it a Big deal !! Like 1198 or Less Heat ! Thanks

Has anyone fitted one yet? Any improvement in heat shielding? It's a significant investment but in theory should do a very good job.

Guys I may be barking up the wrong tree but since I fitted the comfort seat the heat problem seems to be reduced. I think The seat seems to position my legs in a way that more air circulates, reducing the heat build up.

Stock system in traffic routinely got up to 220-224 and the heat was bearable with Kevlar jeans. Full system in same traffic in same ambient temp of about 77 got up to 216 max yet the heat seemed to radiate further but was tolerable in any case and it's relatively easy to find a bit more...

To all those that has the carbon heat shield installed, does it get in the way of the passenger footpegs? From pictures it does look a little bigger than the stock steel heat shields. Any feedbacks would be appreciated as i am interested in getting 1 but i dun wanna end up not being able to...

I know this has been talked about a bit but I was wondering what the current 1199 owners think of the heat since they have owned it for a while. I'm mainly worried about commuting, where I live it only gets upto about 28c in summer! That's about 84f. Cheers
