I found this awesome product on fleabay, it is a Carbon Fiber spray. It sprays a CF pattern on any material. I ordered some ($6.95) and tried it. On black plastic it is really accurate, from any distance you cannot tell the difference! I will put up some pics after work.

I have a few marks on the side fairings and one big one on my front fairing from either a rock hitting it or someone gently hitting it with something else. I know Colorrite matches OEM paint, has anyone used and applied this? If so, how did it turn out? I would rather not spend a lot of money on...

So I'm always fascinated by the paint jobs I see people doing to their plastics, and I've always wanted to get my race plastics done, but I have no idea where to look. If you have any experience in this, how did you get it done?? (I'm not doing it myself, I don't trust me that much!)...

My Pani is 7 months old and I've done around 2,400km. I've noticed the paint seems to be fading, or more accurately hazing, around the fuel tank hard edges. I've never placed anything on it, it's almost as if the paint has hazed from wind resistance or something. Has anyone else got the same...

Not scratches but some sort of paint issue in front of gas cap on top of tank. Im thinking it has to do with overspray while filling up. The "spots" are many and seem to be under the clear coat. I cannot remove them.

Can any one clarify for me if the 1199R petrol tank scheme is polished aluminium or silver paint? I'm getting conflicting info.

Oh Bugger! Took the key out of the ignition the other day before getting off the bike, as I lifted my leg over to get off the bike I scratched the tank with the key in my hand (key quite sharp). About an inch and a half long. Any way of covering it up? Touch up maybe?

just curious never used it and wonder if its worth the full bra kit? avery nano or 3m or ventureguard. how long b4 you have to replace it or start to notice dirt under the skin?

I picked up a full 3M kit from Tankslapper and figured I'd take a few pre-install pics with the kit taped to the bike so members can see whats covered and what's not. What I found interesting was the lack of protection on the lower half of the bike down around the slip-ons.

This is the lower fastener for the screen. Looks like they put it on before the paint had a chance to dry. Didn't notice this until today.
