I'm currently searching for the damn GPS power plug on the 1299. When I had my 1199, the GPS power plug was behind the upper left fairing (it had a blind plug attached to it). I was able to attach a cable with the appropriate male plug to it to power my Tomtom GPS unit from it (it had 12V upon...

so I read the how to in the how to section, and it says to plug one line and vent the other. That's what I did but it seems like it ran kind of choppy so I vented them both. I'm hearing different stories from different people. And wondering what the actual way I am supposed to do it is. Still...

Wired mine this past weekend at Chuckwalla...just ran the wire to the plastic molding 2 inches from the plug. Is there a better anchor? Any pics? Also, to wire the caliper bolts...are you using aftermarket bolts instead of the round-headed stock ones?

Does anyone know what the diameter and the thread pitch of the drain plug? I'd like to machine an extension drain to work with the race catch pan

Hi, So i bought a tomtom gps System and I'm trying to connect the power cable to the panigale. I don't want to connect it directly to the battery, as I want to find a 12V source which is only active upon Ignition. Additionally, it would be great to remove the tomtom charging Cable...

Looking on the 1199 SL site I noticed in the race kit that comes with the bike that a license plate removal holder plug is mentioned in the kit along with the mirror block offs and other goodies. I wonder if that is going to be something that can be ordered separately.

All, Does anyone know if purchasing a new dash is as simple as plug and play? I understand that I will have the 1000km run in display, but does the Dash have a code or anything that will stop it working if it isn't the same one that came with the bike?

Has anyone completed this task yet with the bike clothes on ? The rear is a piece of piss obviously but the front is a dog. Ive seen the section in the workshop manual and it's quite hilarious really - it says you need to remove the small cover as is obvious but then in the next picture...

I was walking around my bike a week ago and saw this in the tire. I had it taken to the dealer and the tire replaced. My question for the future, is something like this fixable or should you always replace your tire on a Sport Bike? Thank you for your help. Sorry for being such a noob!

Hey all. Got this before I got my bike. Anyone know where the plug in is for this and has anyone used it? Yes, I do know that disconnecting the cable would do the same thing, but I've had this for months. Any info apprecated. Thanks.
