I am thinking about getting an extra set of wheels to be able to run SC1 slicks on track. What are the popular options out there?
FYI. Stock V4S wheels, as sexy as they are, cost roughly $4700 apparently.. Insane!
Hey guys, I just picked up a 2014 1199R this past weekend and I was considering running a tank of race fuel through it along with all the new other fluids I just had replaced. My Ducati dealer sells VP Racing Fuels and I only use 100+ octane in my SL. The SL isn't used as often as the 1199...
Was down at Chuckwalla for CVMA on Saturday. I'm with the top amateurs doing 1:55's (only guy rockin' that "hard to ride" Panigale!)...but my starts are ........
A big part of it for these first few weekends has been nerves...but I rev to 6-7k and let the clutch out to just barely...
When fitting larger race rads and oil cooler, is there really any benefit in dumping the thermostat valve from an overall running temp perspective? As I see it, the thermostat will allow water to short circuit in the motor until it is up to temp, after which it diverts it out through the rads...
Hi,
So, I've owned the Rapid Bike EVO module for my street bike, and have just purchased a used Race module for my track bike. If anyone has seen my build thread you'll know it's a conglomerate of a 959 frame, 899 electronics and 1199s engine.
I would like to know if it is possible to use...
I have a 1299 base, and have some armor bodies race body work. I was wondering what everyone is using for a front fairing stay. ive tried to look it up and cant find alot lot of info on which one is the best for mounting the bodywork and IMU.

Daniel
I have a V4 Speciale on order. I like to have the dB killers removed but in some instances the loss of backpressure can be a problem requiring a tune or PCV. Any advance ideas? Since this is straight from the factory perhaps will it be fine to remove them and do nothing more?
Hey all,
I'm looking to buy some race fairings for my 899. I'd prefer Armour Bodies or SharkSkinz. My previous set of CRC fairings were horrible. Let me know if anyone has anything laying around. Would need asap. Thank You!
I have a business trip in Barcelona the week of June 18.
The Catalunya round is June 15-17. I'm thinking of going to Barcelona a day early to attend the race on Sunday. Wondering if anyone on here has attended a race @ Catalunya before?
If not Catalunya specifically, any advice on where is...
Anyone using the Carbonin carbon race fairings? I was wondering on the quality and looks. Less expensive than Fullsix for track fairings but I still want quality and good looks.
Any idea when these will hit he market? I'm about to decide between their handheld and RB Race and would like to know how these cams perform and will the profile be accounted for in future BT handheld updates...
So I'm digging through piles of parts in my basement looking for something else and realize I still have the full Magneti-Marelli Superbike Electronics kit that came off of my 899/1199R hybrid bike I built a few years ago. I'm not sure how I forgot I had that, it would be the equivalent of...
May be the wrong board to post this on, but I figured it's worth a shot.

I'm looking into getting my first race suit, [see previous thread about getting into track days] and really interested in the Alpinestars Missile which has the potential to integrate their air bag system into it. Is this the future and smart to consider?
Obviously there are other suits I like...
Has anyone fitted one of these babies before? Ducati 1299 ? 1199 ? 899 Panigale | Galletto Radiatori
I’m looking for tips since the only installation instructions from the manufacturer are a series of pictures.
Should be fun; the project starts tomorrow! :)
