some of them are so thin...want them but so intimidating as to possible fracture while riding. are my fears unfounded?

Looking for the Aluminum rims, prefer ready to mount set with rotors, but will take bare rims. I have seen them go for $1200-1600 depending on condition. PM me if got one for sale, So-Cal local preferred.
